A handpulled linocut print of the platonic ideal of a tree frog. There's something so nostalgic about these guys for me, they remind me of being a kid and going to the zoo, getting a t-shirt or a plush or plastic frog from the gift shop.
I printed the outline with dark blue ink and then when the ink had cured, I hand-coloured them with watercolours, which was a lot of fun! Kind of like a high pressure paint by numbers.
This is a modest 6 print run. Limited edition, so em while you can! Printed on a heavyweight Arches paper.
Prints measure 7" x 7" or 18cm by 18cm.
Ships via Canada Post as a tracked packet in a rigid mailer with protective backing board and plastic sleeve.
